UTAH: Walk-on lettered his last two seasons while contributing on special teams and in a backup role at offensive tackle.
2018–Played in all 14 games on special teams and on the offensive line in two (Arizona, UCLA) … 14 total plays at offensive tackle … season-high 10 plays against UCLA.
2017–Played in two games (UCLA and West Virginia) … played four snaps vs. UCLA (offensive line stats were not kept against West Virginia).
2016–Played on the scout teams.
2014–Redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: First-team all-state at Bingham HS (Utah) … Region 3 Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman as a senior in 2013 … two-year starter … Bingham won the 2013 5A state championship and finished with a 14-0 record.
PERSONAL: Son of Isabelle Leota and Sui Amaama (pronounced ah-mah-ah-mah) … will receive a bachelor’s degree in sociology in spring 2019.
