Bio
UTAH: Walk-on his first three seasons, he was awarded a scholarship the spring before his senior year ... backup fullback in 2011 and 2012 moved to running back as a senior ... played in 36 games with five starts in three seasons after redshirting in 2010 ... averaged 4.0 yards per carry.
2013-Played in 11 games with three starts (Stanford, Arizona, USC) ... rushed 15 times for 51 yards (3.4 average) and one touchdown ... also had nine receptions for 28 yards and two touchdowns ... rushed for career-high 45 yards on 12 carries (with one touchdown) in the season opener against Utah State ... five catches for 20 yards and a touchdown in Utah's upset win over Stanford ... also played on special teams and had nine tackles.
2012-Played in 12 games, mostly on special teams ... started at fullback against Washington State ... seven carries for 37 yards (all against Washington State) ... also had nine catches for 83 yards with one touchdown ... five catches for 49 yards included a 2-yard touchdown grab against Arizona State.
2011-Played in 13 games, mostly on special teams ... started at fullback against Washington ... 4-yard reception against BYU ... 11 tackles and a TFL on special teams.

PRIOR TO UTAH: Played in seven games as a true freshman at Southern Utah in 2009 ... did not rush the ball, but had five receptions for 27 yards with a long of 17 yards ... first-team all-state and all-region running back as a senior at Layton HS (Utah) ... 145 carries for 998 yards with 13 touchdowns as a senior ... also had 300 receiving yards and made 22 tackles with five sacks in 2008 ... Layton High team captain ... Layton won conference titles in 2007 and 2008, and was the Utah 5A state runner-up in 2007 ... earned three letters in baseball and two in basketball ... second-team all-state baseball player was the 2008 Davis County All-Around Athlete of the Year ... honor roll.
