UTAH: In just one season at the position, he developed into one of the best cornerbacks in the Pac-12 as a senior ... initially played safety in 2011 before injuries cost him the most of that season and all of the 2012 season ... invited to play in the Senior Bowl.
2013-Honorable mention All-Pac-12 ... 12 pass breakups led the Pac-12 and tied for fourth in school single-season history ... finished second in the Pac-12 in passes defended per game (1.08) ... 37 total tackles included 28 solo stops ... returned an interception for a touchdown against UCLA ... four tackles and three pass breakups vs. BYU ... six tackles, two pass breakups and an assisted TFL vs. Colorado.

2011-Played free safety in five games and started in one (USC) ... suffered a season-ending injury against Arizona State ... 12 total tackles ... one pass breakup ... seven tackles against USC ... four tackles vs. BYU.

Cerritos College was the Northern Conference co-champion and played in the 2010 Southern California Bowl ... in 2010, he had 37 tackles, seven interceptions (returned for 203 yards and a touchdown), five pass breakups and two blocked kicks ... blocked a field goal attempt by Bakersfield College on the last play of the game, finishing the play by receiving a lateral at the 35-yard line and scoring the game-winning touchdown ... at La Mirada High, he earned letters in football, track and basketball.
