PROVO, Utah – The Utah track & field team completed the first day of action at the Robison Invitational, posting four new PR marks at Robison Track & Field on the campus of BYU.

Claire Le Gallo got the started bright and early in the 5000m race and took third-overall with a run of 17:07.89 for third-place.

Utah's quartet of 100m racers saw
Rachel Bair take third-overall behind a PR time of 11.88 (aa) – which also saw her move into a tie for ninth on the all-time list.
Haley Duvall was right behind her, crossing the finish line at 11.89 (aa) for fourth. Shortly thereafter, Susmitha Jayantha (12.35 aa) and Ellie Helsam (12.51 aa) each finished the race for new personal best marks as well.

In the 400m dash,
Kait Durham picked up a new personal record when she ran 58.34 (aa).

HEPTATHLON
Over in the heptathlon,
Rachel Bair started things off with a second-place finish in the 100m hurdles at 15.04 (aa). She then went on to win the 200m dash with a run of 24.93 (aa). In the high jump, Bair was slightly off her personal best mark, leaping 1.23m (4-4.25) while posting a distance of 10.10m (33-1.75) in the shotput. Through four events, Bair sits in seventh with 2717 points.
