Former Utah tight end set to play for the Broncos
PITTSBURGH — The Denver Broncos picked former Utah tight end Dallen Bentley with the 256th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday.
Â
Bentley is the third Ute selected in this year's draft, following OT Spencer Fano (9th overall, Cleveland) and OT Caleb Lomu (28th overall, New England).
Â
Bentley follows a strong line of Ute tight ends to the NFL and is the second straight taken in the seventh round by Denver after Caleb Lohner went 241st overall a year ago. Bentley is the 10th overall Utah tight end to be selected in the draft, with the highest pick coming in 2023 when Dalton Kincaid went 25th overall to Buffalo.
Â
Bentley becomes the 25th Ute to be taken in the seventh round of the draft.
