Utah mid-season transfer guard Lucas Langrita will see his former teammate, Jordi Rodriguez, on the Spanish U20 team this weekend when the Runnin' Utes take on the Cincinnati Bearcats. The two played together on the Spanish U20 team at the FIBA U20 Eurobasket Tournament in Gydina, Poland.

LOVERING MAKES NBA DEBUT
Former Runnin' Ute
Lawson Lovering made his NBA debut with the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, Feb. 11, against the Denver Nuggets. The 7-1 center signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies, elevating him from their G League Affiliate the Memphis Hustle. Lovering finished with 3 points on 1-of-2 shooting and 1-of-2 from the line with 4 rebounds and 2 steals in 18 minutes of action.

The Cheyenne, Wyo., product made his NBA debut with 3:17 left to play in the first quarter and picked up his first NBA basket and points at the 4:30 mark in the fourth.

Utah wraps up its short road swing with a 6:30 p.m. (MST) tip-off against West Virginia on Wednesday, Feb. 18, inside Hope Coliseum – formerly known as WVU Coliseum. Noah Reed will guide fans through the action while NBA vet LaPhonso Ellis serves as the analyst for that game as the Utes make their second trip to Morgantown, W.V., in as many years.

The Utes return home for another short stint inside the friendly confines of the Jon M. Huntsman Center, first starting off against the UCF Knights on Saturday, Feb. 21, starting at 7 p.m. (MST) as part of a double-header with the women's basketball team – who will face off against in-state rival BYU starting at 2 p.m. (MST). Salt Lake Bees play-by-play man Tony Parks will be calling the action while former Runnin' Utes assistant coach Joe Cravens serves as the analyst as Utah looks to pick up its first win ever against UCF.
