SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team announced the addition of Weber State transfer Malek Gomma on Monday, April 27, for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Gomma joins the Runnin' Utes with some familiarity having faced Utah last season as a member of the Weber State's program. The big man had 14 points and 6 rebounds with 2 blocks on 6-of-9 shooting against the Utes.

• Earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Seattle U in 2025 thanks to the Running Start program

The Anchorage, Alaska, product is joined next season by TJ Burch, Alec Anigbata, Taison Chatman, Styles Clemmons, Zati Loubaki and return missionaries Jaxon Johnson and David Katoa.
