Erin Vringer of Utah track & field kicked off the 2025-26 indoor season for the Utes at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Opener while teammate
Annastasia Peters wrapped up the cross country season at the USATF Cross Country Championships.

Vringer placed 12th-overall on Saturday with a run of 9:01.22 in the 3000m invitational to open the indoor season inside the BU Track & Tennis Center.

In her first 10k cross country race, Peters crossed the finish line at 35:39.0 in Portland for the USATF Cross Country Championships at a muddy Glendoveer Golf Course. Meanwhile, former Utah All-American Emily Venters recorded a fifth-place finish with a run of 34:20.7.

UP NEXT
The sprints team will get their feet wet this season as they travel 45 minutes south for the BYU December Invite (Dec. 10-11) inside Smith Fieldhouse.
