SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team stays in SLC this weekend as it welcomes in Mississippi State for an 8 p.m. (MST) tip-off on ESPNU inside Delta Center.

Roxy Bernstein will have the action alongside former Arizona Wildcat Corey Williams as the Runnin' Utes look to secure their first win over the Bulldogs in the fourth meeting between the two program.

When the Utes and Bulldogs take the floor at Delta Center on Saturday, it'll be a clash between two former foes from the 1998 National Championship game. Mississippi State assistant Scott Padgett played for the Kentucky Wildcats while head coach Alex Jensen played with Runnin' Utes in San Antonio.

Despite giving up 23 offensive rebounds last Saturday against Cal Baptist, the Utah men's basketball team was able to fight through it and secure the 91-85 win. The Utes moved to 4-2 all-time when giving up 20-plus offensive boards since 1996-97 according to Stats Perform.

The Utes will get another week between games to prepare for Eastern Washington. This will serve as the third-consecutive year the Eagles have come to Salt Lake City and second in as many years under head coach Dan Monson. Chris Sylvester and former Runnin' Utes assistant coach Joe Cravens will have the call on ESPN+ starting at 5 p.m. (MST) from inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center for Utah's final non-conference game at home.
