The Utah men’s basketball team wraps up its six-game homestand to start the season with Cal Poly Thursday night at 7 p.m. (MDT).
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team puts a bow on its six-game homestand to start the 2025-26 campaign with Cal Poly on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. (MDT) inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Krista Blunk and former Runnin' Utes assistant coach Joe Cravens will once again have the call on ESPN+ as the Utes and Mustangs square off for just the third time in program history and first since 2006 in SLC – which was a 77-58 affair in favor of Utah.

With his 10 rebounds Tuesday night, Keanu Dawes (57) became the fourth Ute in the last 30 seasons to grab 50 rebounds in the first five games of a season

Meanwhile, Okonkwo and Arizona's Tobe Awaka are the only two this season to do it off the bench among Big 12 teams and just 1-of-7 players to do it nationally. Okonkwo's 8 offensive boards is also the most by a Ute off the bench since Luke Nevill (8) did it on Dec. 3, 2005, vs. Rice.

Of those eighth instances, Utah has gone undefeated six times with the most recent stemming from 2013-14. The 2025-26 squad will look to be the first time since the 2013-14 team to go undefeated when hosting six-straight games to start the year.

The men's basketball team will get its first test away from home next week as it travels to Palm Desert, Calif., for the Acrisure Series where it'll square off against Grand Canyon on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 10 p.m. (MDT) / 9 p.m. (PDT) local inside Acrisure Arena on CBS Sports Network. Ed Cohen will have the call between the Runnin' Utes and Lopes while former Gonzaga standout Dan Dickau serves as the analyst on the broadcast. It'll then either play Iowa or Ole Miss depending on its result vs. Grand Canyon on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Should the Utes win, they'll play at 7:30 p.m. (MDT). Should the Utes lose, they'll play at 10 p.m. (MDT). Both subsequent games will air on CBS Sports Network with Cohen and Dickau on the call.

After the Thanksgiving break, Utah will have its first true road test as it travels to a familiar locale in Berkeley, Calif., to face off against the Cal Bears on Tuesday, Dec. 2, on ACC Network Extra beginning at 8 p.m. (MDT) inside Haas Pavilion.
