SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 22-ranked Utah cross country team is set to compete in front of its home crowd at the NCAA Mountain Regional this Friday, Nov. 14, at the Regional Athletic Complex starting at 10:30 a.m. (MDT) as the University of Utah plays host to the mountain regionals for the first time since 2019.

HOME SWEET HOME
For the first time since 2019, the University of Utah plays host to the NCAA Mountain Regionals and will mark the first time the host site has been at the Regional Athletic Complex. Friday will also mark the 10th time since 1989 that the University of Utah has hosted the NCAA Regionals.
HOMETOWN KID

Millie Wilcox will make her NCAA Mountain Regional debut in her first season running with the distance squad. The Holladay native spent her first three seasons with the sprints squad before transitioning to the distance side this fall. Wilcox has since thrived and been a consistent scorer for the Utes and finished 31st-overall as Utah's third scorer at the Big 12 Championships.

Unless the Women of Utah finish in the top-2 to earn an automatic bid, they will have to await their fate for Selection Saturday and find out if they've earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships (Nov. 22). Selection Saturday is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. (MDT) on NCAA.com.
