SALT LAKE CITY – Fifth-ranked Utah Gymnastics returned to the Jon. M Huntsman Center on Friday evening to open up their final season of Pac-12 action, hosting the Arizona State University Sun Devils. Leading wire-to-wire, Utah took the win 197.675-196.700 in the season opener, with three of four event scores eclipsing 49.40. The Red Rocks would also secure the top spot individually in every event, as

Abby Paulson securing her first event win on beam and floor.
Grace McCallum added to her season win total, taking her tally up to five through the early going, securing her third bars victory and her first floor win in a share with Paulson.
"This was just a really consistent meet for us," said head coach
Carly Dockendorf. "We saw some really good individual improvements, still as a team not quite all moving together in the same direction."
