SALT LAKE CITY - Utah begins the new year with a trip to Los Angeles this weekend for the Bruin Diving Invitational at Spieker Aquatics Center
Head Coach
Richard Marschner will take an eight-person contingent consisting of
Rylan Little,
Luke McDivitt,
Daniel Theriault and
Tony Chen, competing in his first meet as a Ute, along with
Georgia Brookstein,
Makenzie Caufield,
Clare Greenlow and
Emma Ruchala.
Utah's last competitive meet was here at Don Reddish Natatorium on December 1. Theriault, the men's team captain, placed fifth overall in the three meter with a score of 284.10. Greenlow and Ruchala both reached evening finals for the women.
Utah also competed in the Missouri Diving Invite earlier this year, where Theriault was able to win the platform event, setting a school record in the process.
The meet will be a tune up for the Utes as they head into the final stretch of the season. The event kicks off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
