OGDEN, Utah – The Utah track and field team is set to close out the regular season at the Weber State Twilight meet on Wednesday, May 3. Utah will send a small group of athletes to compete in Ogden, Utah.
"We have one more opportunity for a handful of kids on Wednesday night. It is primarily a sprints, jumps, and throws kind of meet and is just a last chance before conference for a few kids to get a few extra reps," head coach
Kyle Kepler said.
The mid-week competition will take place at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah. Field events are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. MT with the women's javelin. Track events will begin at 4:35 p.m. MT with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.
"The regular season is coming to an end, but obviously, we have a couple people who are going to complete their seasons and then we have a good chunk of people getting ready for the Pac-12 Championships. Following that weekend, we will know who our NCAA Preliminary round qualifiers are and then we will go from there," Kepler said.
