Utes hold fall event on home courts
SALT LAKE CITY -Â Utah men's tennis will hold its only home event of the fall this weekend at the George S. Eccles Tennis Center. The Utah Invitational Tournament will run Friday-Sunday with first serve occurring daily at 9 am.
Utah captured four titles at this event last season with Santiago Sierra, Joe Woolley, Slava Shainyan and Dan Little all coming out victorious.
The Utes will welcome contingents from Nevada, Utah State and Weber State for this year's three-day affair. Both the doubles and singles brackets will be split into four flights with a round-robin format deciding the winner.
Admission is free, as well as parking in the E lot, east of Guardsman Way.
