Upcoming Event: Women's Tennis versus ITA All-American Championships on September 20, 2025

SALT LAKE CITY - For the 33rd consecutive year, the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, California, will serve as host for the Intercollegiate Association's Women's All-American Championships.
Senior Margo Pletcher and junior Brianna Turley will represent the Utes at the ITA All-American Championships. Pletcher will be playing in the qualifying singles group as well as the in the main draw doubles group with Turley. This is the duo's second consecutive year competing in the main draw round.
Qualifying singles and doubles are set for October 3-4, with the main draw running from October 5-8.
Pletcher is coming off her junior season where she was named Pac-12 honorable mention, winning eight singles matches at the No. 1 spot, including a top-40 win over Arizona's Lauren Marker.
At last year's ITA's, in the pre-qualifying singles round, she fell to Olaya Garrido-Rivas of TCU in a hard-fought, three-set battle. After dropping the first set 6-3, Pletcher came back to win the second set, 7-5. She then came up short in the third set, 6-4, losing the match.
Pletcher is scheduled to play on Tuesday, Oct. 2 against Virginia's Cassie Mercer at 11:45 a.m. MT.
Pletcher and Turley will be competing in the main draw doubles. The pair won 11 matches together last season, including a big win over Ksenia Laskutova and Martina Okalova who played for No. 40 Tulsa.
In the first round at last year's ITA's, Pletcher and Turley faced Zoe Katz and Gabby Smith of USC. Pletcher and Turley came up short against the Trojan pair and lost the match, 8-3.
