LOS ANGELES - The University of Utah men's tennis team (10-10, 0-4 Pac-12) was shut out by No. 15 UCLA (13-6, 4-0 Pac-12) Saturday at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
The Bruins nabbed an early 1-0 lead after capturing the doubles point at the Nos. 1 and 3 spots, then followed with six-straight singles victories. The match was decided at the top position as Cedric Willems was defeated by fourth-ranked Mackenzie McDonald, 6-3, 6-1.
The Utes return home to host their last three matches of the season against conference foes No. 59 Washington on April 10, No. 51 Oregon on April 12 and Arizona on April 18.
