LOS ANGELES - The University of Utah men's tennis team (10-9, 0-3 Pac-12) was shut out by No. 7 USC (17-3, 3-0 Pac-12) Friday at Marks Stadium.
The Trojans netted the doubles point at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions, then followed with six-straight singles victories. The match was decided at 4-0 when freshman Johan Jonhagen was defeated by USC's No. 68 Nick Crystal at the fifth spot, 6-0, 6-1.
The Utes return to action Saturday against No. 15 UCLA (12-6, 3-0 Pac-12) at Los Angeles Tennis Center at 1 p.m. PT.
