BREMERTON, Wash. - The University of Utah golf team currently sits in 13th after two rounds of the Husky Invitational at Gold Mountain Golf Club Monday. The team compiled a score of 607 (296-311), while junior Brandon Kida lead the Utes in player standings.
Kida is currently tied for 29th with a four-over-par 148 (72-76), while fellow junior Max McGrail is tied for 41st with a mark of 151 (73-78). Junior Gentry Hicks swung a 153 (75-78) to tie for 52nd and junior Jonathon Thomas sits in 63rd with a score of 155 (76-79). Rounding out Utah's roster is junior Brent Pollock, who is in 73rd place with a mark of 163 (82-81).
In individual standings, junior Jose Pelayo posted a seven-over-par 149 (78-71) and is currently tied for 23rd. Junior Stephen Croft is tied for 28th with a mark of 150 (78-72), while senior Jack Maerki scored a 159 (85-74) to tie for 38th.
The Utes return to action Tuesday morning for the third and final round of the Husky Invitational on the Olympic Course of Gold Mountain Golf Club. Live scoring will continue to be available here.
