Utah's Rosalie Waller to Race at NCAA Championships

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Utah Track and Field's Rosalie Waller will compete for the Utes at this week's NCAA Outdoor Championships from Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

This is Waller's first trip to the NCAA Championships and it marks the eighth time in the last nine years that the Utes have placed a student-athlete in the signature event.

At the NCAA Preliminaries in Fayetteville, Ark., Waller placed third in the quarterfinals with a time of 2:04.76. Earlier this season, she ran the 800m in 2:04.71 at the Drake Relays. Waller also finished second at the Pac-12 Championships in Pullman, Wash. (2:07.20).

Waller will race in the 800m semifinals on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. PT. If she is able to advance, the finals of the event will be at 5:25 p.m. PT on Friday.
