CHULA VISTA, Calif. - The University of Utah golf team wrapped up the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic Tuesday at the San Diego Country Club. The team pulled together a score of 904 (311-297-296) to place 9th while senior Ben Bankhead and sophomore Jonathon Thomas both finished in the top 30.

Bankhead and Thomas score seven-over-par 223s, while senior Daniel Engle remained tied for 35th with a score of 225 (79-71-75). Senior Casey Halliday posted his tournament low of 76 in the third round to tie for 65th with a mark of 235 (82-77-76). Sophomore Steven Croft finished out Utah's lineup with a score of 237 (81-81-75) to tie for 70th.

The Utes return to action March 24 and 25 at the Oregon Duck Invitational in Eugene, Ore.
