Albuquerque, N.M. - The University of Utah golf team played the final round of the William H. Tucker Invitational finishing with a team score of 902 (303-297-302), earning 10th place. The tournament took place at the University of New Mexico Championship Course.
Junior Casey Halliday led the Utes with 221 (76-68-77), tying for 16th. Earlier this week Halliday also led the Utes with 216 (71-75-70) at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational. Sophomore Gentry Hicks earned 226 (78-74-74), and tied for 38th. Redshirt freshman Jonathon Thomas followed closely with 227 (73-78-76), tying for 43rd. Junior Daniel Engle tied for 73rd with a score of 237 (76-77-84). Senior Joe Webber earned 238 (78-85-75), tying for 75th.
The Utes' next showing will be at the Pac-12 Challenge, October 8-9.
