Utah Volunteer Coach Shayla Houlihan to Compete in Prefontaine Classic

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Utah volunteer assistant coach Shayla Houlihan will compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Saturday's Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Ore.
The meet will be aired live on NBC from historic Hayward Field with Houlihan's event scheduled to begin at 1:19 p.m. PDT.
The Prefontaine Classic is part of the IAAF Diamond League Series, which includes all of the premier meets from around the world.
Houlihan finished sixth in the final-round race of the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa, last Sunday with a time of 10:09.49. In the first-round race, Houlihan finished seventh with a time of 10:02.17.
