Albuquerque, N.M. - The University of Utah men's golf team completed the first round of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by the University of New Mexico. The Utes ended the day in 14th place with a first round score of 305 before the second round was cut short due to rain.
Leading the Utes is junior Chase Hite, tied 21st place after shooting a first round of 73.
Junior Mike Branca ended the day in a tie for 41st place with a mark of 75. Tied for 69th place Jeff Kitches ended the day with a score of 76.
Sophomore Joe Webber is tied in 84th place with a score of 82, while Derek Adams is tied for 95th place after a first round mark of 83.
