Eugene, Ore. - The University of Utah men's golf team completed the 21st annual Oregon Duck Invitational tying for 12th-place. The Utes finished the day with a score of 916 (311, 304, 301), at 52-over-par.
Chance Cota had the best finish for Utah at six-over-par with a score of 222 (76, 74, 72). Cota tied for 20th-place.
Freshman Kaleb Mahanes had the second best finish for the Utes with a score 230 (81, 71, 78), at 14-over-par, tying for 50th-place. With a final score of 233, Jeff Kitches tied for 66th-place at 17-over-par.
One shot behind Kitches, Chase Hite finished at 18-over-par with a score of 234 (76, 83, 75), tied for 70th-place. Derek Adams completes the Utes roster with a score of 239 (79, 82, 78), at 23-over-par, tied for 76th-place.
Washington continued their lead finishing in first place at five-under-par with a score of, 859, with Oregon in second with a score of 874, at 10-over-par. Nick Taylor of Washington finished first in the individual standings with a score of 211 (70, 73, 68), at five-under-par.
Up next, Utah will travel to Scottsdale, Ariz. for the University of Wyoming Cowboy Classic April 6-7.
