Utah Head Coach Elaine Elliott
On Morgan's comeback from injury:
"Morgan totally accepts that load of leader, and it is a load. She doesn't shy from it, but she absolutely embraces it. That takes a special kind of mentality."
What the biggest difference in the second half:
"We could not get into our offense in the first half. We made some adjustments at half time. It would have helped if we could have made those adjustments earlier. We couldn't take them out of their ability to pressure on us one-on-one until the second half."
On the difference in turnovers in the second half:
"We did some different things to get into our offense in the second half. We need to get more solid in implementing some of those fundamental things. We shouldn't have those type of issues, but that was most of the difference. Those different things got us into our first and second catches and that made us more successful."
Utah guard Morgan Warburton
On her return in the second half:
"My ankle was a little stiff, but overall I just had to get out there and play. Once I got out there it loosened up a little bit. I didn't feel like I was 100-percent in the second half, but luckily my shots fell. I wish I could have done a little bit more, but I did what I could."
"In the first half, our overall intensity was down. We weren't playing our best game. In the second half everyone else stepped up and played really well."
On the mentality of the second half:
"This team is really physical and are really good rebounders. You just have to stay positive when your shots don't fall at first, but when it starts rolling you just have to keep the intensity up and hope it keeps going your way."
Mississippi State Head Coach Sharon Fanning
"We haven't played a lot of teams that are 82-percent or so from the free throw line that I can remember. Utah's a very good basketball team. Look at the ranked teams that they have played down to the wire and been ahead of, so they are a very good team with a balanced group with good experience and they executed very well in the half court."
"[Morgan Warburton] understands the game as well as anybody I've seen, and she plays at a pace that is hard to guard - it's fast but it is under control, and she takes great shots."
