SALT LAKE CITY - For the second consecutive season, University of Utah golfer Dustin Pimm has qualified for the NCAA West Regional Golf Championships. Last season, Pimm tied for fifth at the regional tournament and became the first Ute ever to qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual.
This year's regional meet will be hosted by Arizona State University at the ASU Karsten Golf Course. The course is 7,057 yards long and a score of 72 is par at the ASU Karsten Course.
Competition will begin May 17 and run through May 19. Twenty-seven teams and six individuals qualified for the event. The top 10 teams and top two individuals not on a qualifying team will move on to the NCAA Championships.
