RENO, Nev. - Utah recorded its second strong finish in a row Tuesday, placing second in the Wolf Pack Classic. The Utes shot a 287 in Tuesday's final round to end the tournament at fifteen-under-par. Iowa State won the Classic at twenty-two-under-par.
"We played really well this week, not good enough to win, but things are moving along well," said Coach Randall McCracken of his team. "We put together a solid tournament."
Dustin Pimm earned his second collegiate victory, carding a 73 on Tuesday to end the tournament at eleven-under-par. Nicholas Larson continued his stellar play, scoring a 73 on the final round to finish at four-under-par and tied for ninth place. Joining Larson and Pimm in the top 20 was Steven Broker who fired a blistering 68 to finish at two-under-par, tied for fourteenth place.
