SAN DIEGO - The University of Utah golf team finshed Day One at the Barona Cup in 10th place after firing rounds of 286 and 293. Wichita State leads the tournament.
Steven Broker led the Utes with rounds of 71 and 73 to finish the day at even par, tied for 29th place. Nicholas Larson followed close behind at one-over-par tied for 36th place. Standout Dustin Pimm is still suffering from a bulging disk and did not make the trip.
