San Diego, Calif. - The University of Utah men's tennis team was upset by San Diego State University (6-1) today on the Aztecs' home courts.
In doubles, No. 45 Miron Mann and Zach Ganger battled it out at the No. 1 spot against Armando Carrascosa and Benedickt Stronk. The Utah duo picked up the only doubles win of the day (9-8(6)).
Already up 1-0, the Aztecs clinched the win over the Utes by taking five of the six singles spots in straight sets. Sophmore Jason Yap earned Utah's lone point with the defeat of Eugenio Romero (6-1, 6-0) at No. 6.
Tomorrow the men's tennis team takes on No. 40 UNLV.
