Head Coach F. D. Robbins comments on the match. "MSU was a tougher team than USU and they are ranked higher than us in our region. We knew it would be close, a dog fight from the beginning."
"I was really pleased with their performances and really proud of the way they fought. Roeland and Miron had a great come back in doubles. It shows that in every team situation different guys step up at different times. Winning a close one like this builds confidence."
