Outdoor Track Finishes Clarence Robison Invitational

PROVO - The University of Utah outdoor track and field team wrapped up the last day of competition of the Clarence Robison Invitational on Sat., May 4. Ute athletes had strong individual performances throughout the meet. The women's team finished fourth (74 points) and the men's team finished third (6 points).

Top finishes for the women's team include Erianne Allen's first place (5264 points) finish in the heptathlon, April Jackson's third place (1.68m) finish in the high jump and Brooke LoBue's third place (3.81m) finish in the pole vault. For the men, Jeff Davidson finished second (9:26.54) in the 300-meter steeplechase. Nephi Tyler placed second (3:47.73) in the 1500-meter run, and Lion Gallegos finished fifth (15:40.46) in the 5000-meter run.
