THIS WEEK:
The University of Utah outdoor track & field teams will compete in the Idaho State Spring Fever Festival in Pocatello, Idaho. The meet will being on Fri., Apr. 26 and last until Sat., Apr. 27. Utah's last meet in Logan was canceled halfway through due to harsh weather conditions.
LAST MEET:
Four athletes from the University of Utah outdoor track & field team competed at the Mark Faldmo Open on Sat. Apr. 20. The meet was canceled halfway through due to weather. Katy Barton finished 11th (14.16) in the 100-meter run. Nellie Hammons placed tenth (1:00.70) in the 400-meter run. Noelle Pikus took seventh (34.18m) and Mary Dinsdale finished (31.72m) in the discus throw.
Erianne Allen and Kristy Slade from the University of Utah Outdoor Track & Field Team competed in the California Invitational Heptathlon on Thru., Apr. 18 at Azusa Pacific University. After the final day of competition Erianne placed second (5150 points) place and Kristy Slade finished ninth (4752).
AFTER THIS:
The University of Utah outdoor track & field teams will travel back to Provo, Utah for the BYU Clarence Robinson Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin on Fri., May 3 and last until Sat., May 4.
