THIS WEEK: Utah will travel to Calimesa, Calif., to compete in the Anteater Invitational. The tournament will be held March 25-26 and is hosted by UC Irvine. Joining Utah will be Long Beach State, San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Cal State Northridge, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Sacramento State, Utah, UTEP, Boise State, Idaho, St. John's and Arizona JV.
USD INVITATIONAL RECAP: The men's golf team finished 13th at the USD Invitational. The Utes shot a three-round score of 959 (317-323-319). San Diego State won the tournament by taking only 882 strokes.
Sophomore Luke Swilor led the Utes by finishing tied for 43rd place. Swilor finished one over-par in the first round (73), before struggling in the final rounds to finish with 236 strokes (20 over-par). Jason Shepherd and Nick Summers tied for 54th place, Ashdon Woods tied for 64th place and Bruce Summerhays Jr. tied for 85th place.
