THIS WEEK:
The Utes head to California for the Fresno Lexus Golf Classic on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12. This week's line-up will be made up of Casey Fowles, Carl Jensen, Garrett Clegg, Luke Swilor and Steve Newren. The Fresno Lexus Golf Classic will be held at the San Joaquin Country Club. The tournament will tee off on Friday at 8:00 a.m. for play of the first two rounds, Saturday at 8:00 a.m. the final round will begin. Fresno State is the host of the tournament.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK:
Utah finished sixth at the Rocky Mountain Invitational with a team score of 25-over (889). Leading the way for the Utes was Casey Fowles tied for 12th with a two-over (218). Luke Swilor had a score of five-over (221) leaving him in a tie for 22nd. Carl Jensen finished tied for 31st with his seven-over (223). Garrett Clegg and Steve Newren each finished with a 13-over (229) for the Utes, leaving them in a tie for 52nd.
UTE NOTES:
Utah is currently ranked sixth in the Mountain West Conference, and 84th in the Golfweek Division I men's team rankings. Leading the Utes this season is Carl Jensen who is 20th on the conference leaderboard.
