Golf Team to Tee Off This Weekend

SALT LAKE CITY- The University of Utah men's golf team travels to Albuquerque, N.M., this week to participate in the William H. Tucker Invitational hosted by the University of New Mexico. The invitational runs from September 21-22. The team will play 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday. The tournament will start at 8 a.m. (MDT) both days at the par 72 Championship Course.
The Utes placed 18th last year in the event with a score of 909. Competing schools from the Mountain West Conference include Air Force, Brigham Young, Colorado State, New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV and Wyoming. Other schools included in the field of competitors are: Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico JV, New Mexico State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, SE Louisiana, Southern California, Texas A&M and UTEP.
