SALT LAKE CITY -
University of Utah golfer Ryan Ellis has been named the Mountain West Conference's Men's Golfer of the Week. Ellis, a senior from Draper, finished seventh out of a field of 84 golfers at the San Diego Invitational on March 20. He shot a season-low 70 in the second round and finished with a season-best three-round total of 219. Ellis is ranked 26th in the MWC this year with a 75.0 average.
