PALM DESERT, Calif. - The University of Utah golf team is in seventh place with a 605 (+29) after two rounds of play at the Mountain West Conference Championship at the PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course in Palm Desert, Calif. UNLV remains in the lead (566) and Colorado State remains in second place (570).
Ryan Ellis is leading the Utes in 17th place (76-71*147) and finished the day at 3-over par on Tuesday. Shawn Edwards tied for 18th place (72-76*148) at +4. Gregg Oliphant is in 26th place (77-74*151) at +7 followed by Brock Padilla in 36th place (84-76*160) and Clint Christiansen in 39th place (83-78*161).
The third and final round will begin at 6:30 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday.
