SALT LAKE CITY- The Oregon State Beavers made a drastic come-back after an unsatisfactory showing on Fri. Nov. 3. The Beavers beat the Utes on the second day of competition with a final score of 153-126, concluding the first home meet of the season. Utah women's record is now 1-2 in both regular and conference competition.
Each team captured eight of the 16 individual races. Among the winners were Utah senior Heidi Hausknecht who took first-place in the 50 free(24.66) and the 100 fly (57.15). Kristen Kaiser claimed the top spot in the 500 free (5:09.99) competition, and Erin Blundell was first in the 200 fly (2:08.20).
Utah received an added benefit, having the only diver in the competition. Jill Comins had 177.25 in the one-meter and 154.25 in the three-meter.
