Utah Swim and Dive Announces 2026-27 Schedule

Five home meets listed on the 26-27 slate
SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah swimming and diving program has announced its complete schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Utes will host three regular season meets inside Ute Natatorium after kicking off the season with the annual alumni meet on Friday, September 18.
"I'm excited about the upcoming season," head swimming and diving coach Jonas Persson said. "Our meet schedule is nice balance and gets more competitive as we go through the season. It will prepare us well for conference [championships] and national championships."
The slate includes 21 meets for the women's program and 20 meets for the men's program. In between their travel to seven states, the Utes will be back in Salt Lake to host five meets at home.
"I couldn't be more excited for the 2026-27 season," head diving coach Landon Marzullo said. "Both the men and women dovers have a lot of talent and we will be ready for what this season brings. Go Utes!"
The season will officially kick off with the CMU Intermountain Shootout in Grand Junction, Colo. on October 3. At the end of the month, the squad will head to Green River, Wyo. to face Wyoming.
November will start at home for the Utes where the women will face Utah Tech on November 5 and both programs will see UNLV and CMU the following day. The diving team will take the first trip of the month to Austin, Tex. For the Texas Diving Invitational November 11-13.
The team will split up November 18-21. Part of the squad will head to Dallas, Tex. for the SMU Invitational and the rest will be in Grand Junction, Colo. For the CMU Invitational.
The rest of the team will see Austin, Tex. to compete in the US Open on December 2-5. The Utes will close out the year back in the Ute Natatorium for the fourth-annual Utah Winter Classic on December 12.
Escaping the cold, the Utes will start the new year in Tucson, Ariz. For the Big XII Dual Meet Challenge – West January 15-16. This multi-tea mid-season conference clash will feature Arizona State. Arizona, BYU and Kansas.
After both programs take a quick trip to Dallas, Tex. for a dual meet against SMU on January 22, the diving team will head to Flagstaff, Ariz. for the NAU Diving Invitational January 29-31.
February 5 will bring BYU to the Ute Natatorium to face the Utes in a dual meet at home.
The Utes will be in Las Vegas, Nev. February 12-13 for the UNLV First Chance Meet before a trip to Grand Junction, Colo. for the CMU Last Chance Meet on February 20.
Postseason competition begins with the 2027 Big 12 Swim and Dive Championships February 24-27 at Greensboro Aquatics Center in Greensboro, N.C. At last years competition, the men earned a spot on the podium with a third place finish and the women finished seventh.
March brings more postseason action, starting with NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on March 8-10. The NCAA Swimming and Diving National Championships kick off in mid-March at Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin. Tex. The women's championships will be held from March 17-20 with the men's championships taking place the following week, from March 24-27.
