FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Due to inclement weather, the final round of the Colorado State Ram Invitational at the Fort Collins Country Club was canceled. Subsequently, the Utah golf team placed seventh with a team score of 585 (297 and 288) after two rounds of play on Monday. Utah junior Ryan Ellis, playing in his first Division I tournament for Utah, placed 15th overall firing back-to-back 72s to finish the day at four-over-par. Shawn Edwards finished 21st for Utah at five-over-par (145). Gregg Oliphant and Brock Padilla shared a 35th place finish, each at eight-over-par. Oliphant shot a 77 and 71, while Padilla shot a 74 for each round. Clint Christiansen placed 61st out of 81 golfers finishing at 13-over-par (153).
