WALNUT, Calif. -- The University of Utah golf team placed 10th at the Grand Canyon/Thunderbird Invitational with sophomore Shawn Edwards shooting a three round total of 224 and finishing 22nd overall.
Edwards was in 13th place after the first two rounds at four over par, the Utes were in ninth. Sophomore Brock Padilla placed 29th for Utah, shooting 226 and finishing 10 over par.
The next tournament for Utah is the Franklin Cougar Classic April 23-24 in Provo.
