SALT LAKE CITY - Nine student-athletes and four staff members of the University of Utah track team were injured when the team's chartered bus was involved in a massive-pile up Friday approximately 20 miles east of Burley, Idaho, on a snow-packed Interstate 84. The team was en route to the Bob Gibb Invitational at Boise State University.
The team spent Friday night at a National Guard armory near Burley. The team took a chartered bus back to Salt Lake City on Saturday and arrived back on the U. campus at approximately 4:15 p.m.
None of the members of the Utah travel party were seriously injured. The driver of the bus suffered a broken leg. The names of the U. student-athletes and staff treated and released at a Burley hospital is now available for release.

Travis Hildebrand (Chico, Calif.) - fractured nose, knee injury
Tiffany Johnson (Salt Lake City) - laceration of chin
Catherine Scalley (Salt Lake City) - knee contusions
Adam Stark (Taylorsville, Utah) - cut chin, possible shoulder dislocation
Phil Stoddard (Bountiful, Utah) - knee contusions
Tara Tidwell (Spanish Fork, Utah) - fractured right foot

Thomas Porter (Asst. Coach) - cuts on head
