- Also participated in meets against Arizona, LSU, UNLV, Arizona State, Colorado Mesa, Wyoming, BYU and USC

- Pac-12 Winter Honor Roll Selection
- Swam in five races against Colorado Mesa on Jan. 6 and 7 and took fourth in the 100 back
- Also participated in meets against UNLV, BYU and USC
- Took part in four races at the Pac-12 Championships
- Opened up the season competing in the 200 fly, 200 back and 200 medley relay against California
- Finished 12th in the 200 back and 14th in the 400 IM at the Big Al Invite
- Collected a pair of third-place finishes in the 200 back and 200 IM at BYU
- Was fifth in the 200 back and 200 IM against USC
- Finished 23rd and recorded personal-bests in both the 200 back and 400 IM at the Pac-12 Championships.

- Son of Noel and Jennifer Ellsworth, who both are graduates of Brigham Young University

- Chose Utah because of the level of detail that goes into each athlete’s training plan, unique camaraderie among the team and the access to facilities and many resources athletes have
