Prior to Utah: Attended New Mexico Military Institute, where he appeared in all 12 games during the 2022 season and helped the Broncos to a 9-3 season with a win in the HF Sinclair Wool Bowl.
Made 81 tackles (21.5 TFL, 15.5 sacks) and forced three fumbles, along with earning one fumble recovery and a blocked kick.
Was tied for the NJCAA Division I lead with 15.5 sacks, and ranked third with 21.5 TFL.
Season-best nine tackles came in three different games, including wins over Blinn College and Cisco College.
