UTAH: Initially a walk-on, he was awarded a scholarship after an honorable mention all-Pac-12 season in 2011 ... walked on to the team in 2006 (later leaving for a church mission), but until 2011, he had never appeared in a college game ... Utah's starting placekicker in 2011 and 2012 made 68.4% of his field goal attempts (26-of-38) to rank fifth in school history ... 26 made field goals is tied for the sixth most in school history ... also ranked in the top 10 in made PATs (75/7th) and extra point attempts (77/8th) ... ranks seventh all time at Utah in career kick scoring points (153) ... 7-of-15 from 40 yards and out ... earned two Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week awards.
2012-Handled all of Utah's placekicking ... made 8-of-13 field goal attempts (61.5%) and 38-of-39 PATs (97.4%) ... 3-of-5 from 40 yards and out ... long make of 48 yards vs. BYU ... made both field goal attempts against both Washington State and Colorado ... scored a touchdown on a fake field goal play (3-yard rush) against Arizona.
