2017: Finished a season-best third in the 10-km classic and eighth in the 20-km freestyle at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors in both events … second-team All-RMISA … one podium finish … two top five finishes and nine top 10 finishes … fifth in the 10-km classic at the RMISA Championship while placing ninth in the 20-km freestyle … sixth in the 10-km classic and 20-km freestyle at the UAA Invite … helped Utah's No. 2 team finish seventh in the 4x5-km mixed classic relay at the Seawolf Invite.
Before Utah: Four top-30 finishes in the Scandinavian Cup … six times in the top 30 at the Norwegian National Championships … six-times North-Norwegian Champion … finished third at the 2009 National Junior Championships … previously attended the University of Tromsø.
Personal: Son of Bård and Merete Mikkelsen … brother Eirik also skis, sister Nora … majoring in geoscience.
