KANSAS CITY – The Utah men's basketball team was honored with the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award once again along with a pair of players named to the NABC Honors Court.
This marks the sixth-consecutive year Utah has had multiple players named to the NABC Honors Court with
Terrence Brown and
Jerry Huang earning the award.
In addition, this is the seventh-straight season the Runnin' Utes have earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award and ninth time overall (2013, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026).
To be eligible for the NABC Honors Court, players must meet the following criterion
- Academically a junior, senior or graduate student during the 2025-26 academic year
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the academic year
- Must have been a member of the varsity roster in 2025-26
- Players from four-year colleges with at least one active NABC member on staff are eligible
To be eligible for the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, a program must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
