Utah Football to Host 22 For U Fan Day

Festivities set for April 18 from 4:30-6 p.m. inside Spence Eccles Field House
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah football program is set to host 22 For U Fan Day on April 18 from 4:30-6 p.m. inside the Spence Eccles Field House.

Utah fans can get autographs from the entire football team, children under 12 will have access to the Kids Zone featuring 10+ fun and interactive drills alongside the football coaching staff and head coach Morgan Scalley will be interviewed live.Â

Coats will be collected for the 22 Forever Coat Drive, benefiting people in need of warmth during the winter months and fans can also donate to the 22 Forever Memorial Scholarship.
Entry and exit to the field house for fans will be via the southwest and northwest corners of the facility. Autographs will only be available on the poster provided at the event and fans are encouraged to be in line by 5:30 p.m. to guarantee access to autographs. Parking on Saturday is free in all university lots near the field house, including guardsman and the east/west stadium lots.

22 Forever Memorial Scholarship
The University of Utah honors the memories of Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe with scholarship funds that bear their names.
Â
Both Jordan and Lowe wore the number 22 during their time playing football for Utah. Jordan was killed in December 2020 when a handgun he was carrying accidentally went off. Lowe, who was the first recipient of the Ty Jordan scholarship, died less than a year later after being shot at a party following a football game. Following Lowe's death, the number 22 was retired from the football team's roster.
