SALT LAKE CITY – Eight members of the University of Utah swim and dive program have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Seniors
Elias Petersen,
Evan VanBrocklin,
Kathryn Grant,
Erin Palmer and
Julia Bartell, juniors
Teagan Steinmetz and
Kelson Flynn, and sophomore
Winston Sundeen all earned all-District honors. This marks the fourth year in a row that Utah has had eight student-athletes recognized on the All-District Team, the maximum number allowed.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. In order to be eligible for the All-District Team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and competed in at least 50% of the team's meet during the year.
